It’s that time of year again, and The Price is Right! Right?
Well, not always.
While spending plenty of $$$ obviously is not necessary to spread some cheer and Christmas Spirit, there are plenty of times when we’re ready to spend some cheddar (I learned that one from my 9-year-old)!
Here are gift ideas I’ll consider a little “above and beyond” when compared to my “Gifts Under $50” post. I wanted to balance out the blogosphere and show a couple of super cool, wild, and fun gift ideas that may or may not impress anyone.
Just for the fun of it, feel free to share what you think of these………
Wireless sony headphones
Sony has been making incredible products since the 1940s. Can you believe that?! They made amazing stuff when I was a kid ,and they make amazing products now. These wireless headphones are a great addition to any home. Especially when you want to cancel out the background noise of your three small children fighting because someone stole someone’s favorite Nerf gun and someone broke into someone else’s fort as retaliation. And someone is just trying to sing Katy Perry’s “Roar” in the middle of all those shenanigans. Maybe that doesn’t happen in your house….maybe it does. Either way, these headphones seem to offer a perfect solution to a variety of household noises.
kids fire tablet
While I am a complete screen terror (I am always screaming about “NO MORE SCREEN TIME!!!” and frightening the children with my wails), I do think screens can be a tool and a resource when given appropriate boundaries. A Fire Tablet is a great tool for long car rides, plane rides, or taking a screen time break from climbing trees or shoveling the neighbor’s yard. These tablets are well-priced this time of year, and if I didn’t already have a set for our kiddos, I would probably consider getting them while the deal is hot.
Breville espresso machine
When it comes to coffee appliances, it’s hard to beat Breville. I’m pretty astounded that this bad boy can be purchased for a cool $700. HOWEVER, I can completely imagine Influencers like Maya and Hunter going all in on this without batting an eyelash. We’re talking about a machine that makes Barista-Level coffee drinks, from the comfort of your own home. That’s pretty cool. Has anyone bought one of these? Tell me all about it!
Good Hair Day Platinum Styler
I don’t know about you, but my hair is important to me. I love styling and caring for my mane like a regular tigress. Buying a great product can be a one-and-done situation. That means one really really great purchase goes a long way. As far as ceramic straighteners go, Good Hair Day or GHD products are awesome. This is something that I’d love to find under the tree one day…. I’m counting my other blessings in the meantime.
Michele watch
A good watch never goes out of style. One of my favorite “things” has been the slow inheritance of my father’s watches. He has shared some with me, and now I love the look of a chunky, vintage men’s watch. If modern watches are your bag, many of the modern women’s watches are thicker, chunkier, and packed with character. There are so many beautiful ones to choose from, but lately I have been gravitating toward Michele watches. They are so stylish, and I love a look that is chunky without being over-the-top. Runners up to the Michele watches are a few by Michael Kors and Movado. If you ask me, it all comes down to the style and look that you like. Any of these would be a beautiful purchase!
