This October, I’m excited to offer a new practice at the studio: Kundalini Yoga.
Kunda-what?!?!
Reminds me of a pasta noodle I didn’t know existed, but it sounds DELICIOUS! Amiright?
I’m kidding, I’m kidding!
So, what is Kundalini, for real?
The Yoga Journal describes Kundalini Yoga as “a combination of spiritual and physical practice incorporating movement, dynamic breathing methods, meditation, and the chanting of mantras.”
Kundalini has been around since the 8th century and was used to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
What will a Kundalini class include?
- soothing sounds
- breath work
- different postures and movements
On Friday, October 25th, Jenn Rose will offer a 1-hour Kundalini class in The Studio for $30. If you know me well, you know I’m always excited to try something new. Trying new things with friends is always 100% more fun. I hope you’ll consider this practice, as well.
The older I get, the more I value finding new ways to heal, calm, or refresh the mind and body. Kundalini is a perfect way to access this, and knowing that Jenn will be our guide makes the experience all the sweeter!
