Local florist, Bethany Frost, loves flowers. The colors, the textures, and the arrangements she can design with nature’s assortment. Bethany’s enthusiasm is hard to match when it comes to flowers. With such a level of passion, it’s no wonder her arrangements are simply stunning.
I feel so fortunate to share The Studio space with Bethany’s incredible talent.
Last year, she graced us with the opportunity to learn what makes an arrangement beautiful. She starts with a container (for fall we’ll use pumpkins!). A little foam at the base of the container helps to keep each component in place. Stunning fall flowers mixed with less conventional add-ins to create dimension and depth that illuminate tabletops, end tables, and dining tables alike.
Set this beauty anywhere in the home for that splash of fall we wait to see all year long.
Bethany has an eye for what looks great. The best part of workshopping is two-fold: (A) you get the opportunity to learn a skill you can utilize over and over again and (B) you get time with Bethany, who will ensure your centerpiece gets added attention.
Last year I used my pumpkin arrangement as a centerpiece for Thanksgiving dinner. I felt like a total pro-hostess. The piece was quite extraordinary, and thanks to a few tips and tricks from Bethany, my arrangement lasted for weeks. I felt so glad to have incredible flowers to brighten up the kitchen all November long.
This year’s workshop will offer all the same perks as last year. For $65, you will receive a prepared pumpkin and a choice of flowers to create an arrangement. This means you’ll leave the workshop with a beautiful arrangement and a special “eye”once over” from the pro-florist-in-residence.
Refreshments, music, and fun are always in full supply at The Studio.
