Peace in Yoga Reiki

What on earth is Yoga Reiki?

Well, I like to try new things, and so do my fabulous friends. Why not combine incredible experiences to form something entirely new?

Yoga grounds us by offering a space to move the body. Each asana is an expression through stretches and held poses. We grow in our strength, we push past limits and explore new boundaries, breathing all the while.

Yoga makes me feel grounded, strong, and connected to something bigger than myself.

This workshops offers a peaceful vinyasa flow for the first 45 minutes. After giving the body space to express itself and move energy freely, meditation will leave you feeling both relaxed and focused.

Then comes reiki with Master Reiki Practitioner, Lisa Fowler.

Reiki is a technique that uses energy force to reduce stress and anxiety while encouraging deep relaxation. I had the opportunity to try reiki years ago, and it did not “spark joy,” to put it blankly. I didn’t “get it.” I left feeling like I had missed something.

Then, I met Lisa.

I think we can all agree that our experiences are remembered by the people who share them with us. Remember how 3rd grade was a total shit fest, but 5th grade was amazing? Oh, was that just me? Ok, nevermind. But I’ll tell you a secret: the curriculum wasn’t that different. Our TEACHERS made a huge difference in how we experienced each year.

What’s nice and unique about this yoga reiki workshop is twofold: (1) you’ll have the opportunity to practice yoga, get a great stretch, and find your peace, and (2) with a wonderfully grounded state of mind, you’ll experience an individualized moment of reiki while the collective group meditates.
