Gratitude has an incredible ability to bring peace into our lives. This Mama is all about peace, especially as we work our way into the holiday season. I need peace!!!! So, I connect with gratitude.
When we pause to reflect on what we’re thankful for, we align ourselves with a more positive and harmonious energy. I believe our bodies vibrate at a different frequency when our hearts are filled with gratitude. Simply thinking about the things we appreciate can shift our mood and brighten our outlook.
Mindset truly is everything. What we choose to focus on shapes our attitudes, beliefs, and the course of our day.
I should mention here that I didn’t always believe this. I didn’t know I could control my thoughts. But gratitude is a mindset shift that YOU can control.
Over time, I’ve learned that while we can’t control everything, we can control how we view and respond to life’s challenges. Choosing gratitude is a simple yet profound way to reset our minds and hearts.
Journaling on gratitude has become a popular practice for a reason. Writing down what we’re thankful for not only grounds us in the present but also creates a tangible reminder of the good in our lives. On days when finding gratitude feels harder, the notes in my journal can bring me back to a more grounded feeling.

November 22nd brought the season’s first snowflakes! Watching them fall has filled our home with hope and excitement—especially from the kids, who are already dreaming of snow tubing adventures. - A Day for Rest
My body is tired, and I’m grateful for the chance to slow down. Today, I can stay home, tackle chores at my own pace, and work a little slower than usual. - Weekend Family Time
The kids are eager to watch Percy Jackson tonight. I’m looking forward to popcorn, cozy blankets, and quality time snuggled on the couch with my little ones. These moments are pure magic.
