Hi friends,
Let me start with this: I’ve always been a person with big feelings.
As a kid, I used to hear it all the time—
“Kim, you’re soooo sensitive!”
And it was true. I cried easily, laughed loudly, and experienced every emotion in full color. Whether it was joy or sadness, my feelings showed up boldly, a Monet of paint globs.
As we get older, we’re often taught to tone those feelings down. Sometimes, we even bury them—especially when they’re too overwhelming. That’s something I’ve done. Maybe you have, too.
I can’t be the girl crying all the time! I told myself.
But here’s the thing: emotions don’t disappear. They find ways to surface—through tension, through habits, and sometimes… through dreams.
This weekend, after a joyful Easter filled with love, laughter, and time with family, I noticed something. I had so many wonderful emotions rushing through me, I could have cried from sheer gratitude. But instead, I stayed present, soaking it all in with smiles and hugs and happy chatter.
Then, that night, my feelings met me in a dream.
In the dream, I was talking to my husband about planning something—maybe a trip, maybe just looking ahead. I don’t remember the details. But in the middle of the conversation, I paused, looked at Hubs, and said:
“You know what? We don’t need anything. We have it all.”

And I woke up with this beautiful sense of peace.
My dreaming mind reminded me: Love is enough. Family is enough. This moment is enough.
It was a powerful message I didn’t know I needed to hear.
And maybe, it’s one you need to hear, too. Maybe you know this already, but the reminder feels warm and lovely.
Wherever you are right now, I hope you can find a quiet moment to sit in gratitude. Maybe even take a deep breath, look around, and recognize what’s already good and whole in your life.
How was your weekend?
If you’re feeling peaceful, grateful, or even a little emotional—share it with someone. Let’s spread the peace.
Namaste Every Day,
Kimmie
